Total Request Thursday: The beginning of Family

Willow: Tell me a story.

Tara: Okay.  Once upon a time there was, um, a kitty.  She was very little and she was all alone and nobody wanted her.  

Willow: This is a very upsetting story.

Tara: Oh, oh, but it gets better!  ’Cause one day the kitty was running around the street and a man came and swooped her up and took her to the pound.  And at the pound there are lots of other kitties.  And there are puppies.  And some ferrets.

Willow: Were there dolphins?

Tara doing her best to take care of Willow and soothe her is adorable. And the obvious relaxation and loving of attention is so clear on Willow’s face. Then how Willow just automatically goes into Tara’s arms when she needs comforting is such an amazing picture.
